I was really pleased to read yesterday in the Daily Express that they are aiming to find daily fixes of happiness among all the grim and gloomy news at the moment.
There are so many small happiness occurrences that can lift the spirit and add balance to daily events.
Today - I woke up to sunshine which encouraged me to go out and enjoy the fresh air.
Yesterday - my fix was eating an ice cream sitting on a park bench with three friends watching the world go by.
Do tell us about a recent fix of happiness you have had.
Enjoy your childhood. It disappears so quickly! Many thanks for sharing:

These days we live near the sea in the South West.
We love all the piers we see and wondered if any of you shared our interest in them?
1 - Here is a picture of the shortest pier in England situated in the South West.
Where is it?
2 - Do you know where the longest pier is located?
Clue - it's in the South East!
Please let us have your answers as soon as possible
Can you complete the words to this song about Hot Cross Buns?

My husband had unfortunately broken bones in his foot a few days before we were due to take a short break in Spain to visit our new grandson there.
Easyjet have an online link where you need to give any disability information at least 48 hours in advance - http://www.easyjet.com/en/help/preparing-to-fly/special-assistance.
We filled this in and on arrival at Bristol obtained a wheelchair from the special assistance provider there. We made sure that we were at the airport at least two hours before our flight time as suggested.
We were then accompanied by a guide who fast tracked us through security and then to a waiting area. Once our flight was called we were then taken to a crane which took me, my husband and other disabled passengers to the waiting airplane. This avoided the need to use the steps which he would not have been able to manage. We were advised to wait until all the other passengers had vacated the plane in Madrid and the procedure was reversed. Our guides kindly took us right to the taxi ranks each end which enabled us to continue our journeys without any problem. The service was great and FREE! Here is the link and some pictures which may help others?
